These rooms are typically nicely furnished in a style that fits the vibe of the area, while echoing the popular and consistent designs that include some Victorian touches, mixed in with many of the touches that Stevenswood has made part of it's signature.
The Farmhouse Style Rooms offer limited service, but feature a queen bed (some kings) and a style that is a notch above the basic accomodations found elsewhere.
Bed & Breakfast Rooms
These rooms include our popular full service breakfast in our main dining room of the lodge. You're guaranteed comfortable, clean and peaceful arrangements in these special rooms, each with a private bath.
Steps from the Main Lodge
Plus, you're only steps away from the resort, where you're free to enjoy all the resort amenities regardless of where you rest your head. You'll have access to the same ocean view decks, hot tubs, spa facilities, fitness room, lawn, gardens and more - not to mention our ever popular full service, sit down breakfast. All included. All complimentary.
Seconds from the Ocean Spray
The cluster of Stevenswood Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is situated on the ocean side of Highway One, kitty corner and across the street from Stevenswood. Although not right next door, the position of the property is actually even closer to the beach, headlands and Spring Ranch State Park than the main property Stevenswood Resort.
Within seconds you can be on the hidden beach trail that winds it's way over a natural spring fed creek, ducking under wild berry branches and taking in the aroma of the salty air, flowers in bloom and ocean breeze.
This scenic beach trail starts just down the path from Stevenswood Farmhouse and drops you onto the silver sands of Little River Beach.
This protected alcove has served visitors to the area with memories of fun, relaxation and togetherness for years, but before that it was a busy shipping port for decades in the 1800's.
If towering cliffs of ocean edge trails are more your thing for the moment, head the other way from your doorstep at the Farmhouse and explore the headlands trails that start right on our property. These trails take you through a natural deer trail of coastal cypress trees, gurgling water springs, and you might just spot some deer, rabbits, and if you're really lucky a kit fox.
Three if by Land
Once you've hit the walkable areas around the place, venture by car just 2 minutes up the road to the quaint Victorian style Village of Mendocino.
It features galleries, museums, shops, boutiques, dining, bakeries, general store and gift showcases everywhere. The little village is framed on three sides by the rumbling Pacific and a quick stroll from the paved streets puts you face to face with these giant waves.
Shop it like a Pro
While you're in the Mendocino Village, take a pit stop at the sparkling showcase, Taste of Stevenswood right in the heart of the Village.
Located at the cross roads of Main Street & Lansing, the boutique features the products that help craft the Stevenswood Lifestyle with local handcrafted gifts, incredible wall art, our famous Mendo Mushrooms, authentic jewelry, gifts, spa products, travel essentials and much more.
Like all things Stevenswood, you can easily sign your purchase to your room so you don't even have to carry your cash with you.
Work it Real Good
After you've worked up a good appetite, don't forget to partake in the culinary offerings back at the main Stevenswood Spa Resort. In the main lodge rests the sultry Wine Bar - with complimentary Wine & Olive Oil Tastings just for you. When you crave a little more - the full service, incredible value of the onsite Restaurant at Stevenswood is the very BEST dining option around.
The menu is extraordinarily low priced, but the food, service and ambiance are excellent! Be sure to book your table at the restaurant for guaranteed seating.
Soak it Up
After all this exploration and wonderment you're going to need some down time. There's no better way than the bubbling hot tubs at Stevenswood. These are kept at a perfect 104 just for you and the minerals nurture your body while the surrounding 100 year old oaks and pine trees nourish the soul.
Take it Down a Notch
When you're ready for the feeling of an al dente noodle, slip into your robe & slippers and plan for a spa session of total relaxation, tranquility and grace.
The Indigo Eco|Spa features 4 separate treatment suites and a perfectly named tranquility lounge, all housed in the timbered main lodge.
The only challenge will be making the choice between the two dozen treatment options on the spa's menu of services.
